The portrait of Philipp Hauss was shot on behalf of the Burgtheater for a book about the new stars of the famous theater in Vienna. The idea is to show the actors behind the scenes. The book features Philipp Hochmair, Birgit Minichmayr, Philipp Hauss, Dorothee Hartinger, Nicholas Ofczarek and Johanna Wokalek. I decided to portray Philipp on stage directly after a play. It always seemed to me as if he interpreted his roles in a very settled and calm way. In my opinion the picture successfully captures his relaxed personality.
